Adam Fleming is a Director at BTMK and jointly heads our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. Adam qualified as a Solicitor in 2008 and has extensive experience across all areas of litigation. Adam’s practice now covers all aspects of insolvency law, as well as complex property disputes. Adam acts for a wide range of clients from individuals to corporate entities.
Expertise and Focus Areas:
- Insolvency & Restructuring: Adam advises in respect of both contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters. His experience in high value and complex disputes means that Adam is comfortable acting high-value claims arising from corporate insolvency, including director’s misfeasance, breach of fiduciary duty, and recovery actions in administrations and liquidations. Adam is a member of R3, the Association for Business Recovery Professionals and takes instructions from directors, creditors and Insolvency Practitioners.
- Property Litigation: Adam advises on complex boundary disputes and has extensive experience in Right of Light disputes. Adam advises both developers and homeowners in respect of these claims.
Outside the Office: Adam enjoys travelling, is a keen golfer and former Club Captain at Hadleigh & Thundersley Cricket Club. Adam has also campaigned for many years for justice for those involved in the Infected Blood Scandal.
