Harriet Salmon is a Solicitor in our Family team. Harriet trained with a respected regional practice qualifying in 2024. Harriet specialises in private family law matters, covering a range of cases involving relationships. This includes financial settlement, private children matters, domestic abuse, cohabitation matters and prenuptial agreements.
Harriet brings enthusiasm, diligence, and a strong desire to continually develop her expertise. She strives for excellence, having achieved an award for the best research and writing skills in her intake during her Law LLB studies at the University of Reading. Her dedication to learning and excellence is evidenced in her achievement of a distinction in her Masters Degree in Business alongside her Law Practice Course.
She is committed to supporting clients through difficult times with understanding and empathy. Harriet is particularly focused on achieving practical, tailored solutions that reflect each client’s unique needs whether that be through the Court process or through alternative non-court dispute resolution. Having completed a negotiation course, she takes time to explore all available options, ensuring clients feel informed and throughout the process. Her calm and considered manner helps clients feel reassured in high-stress situations.
Harriet is a member of Resolution and is therefore dedicated to providing advice that is non- confrontational and focussed on the best outcome for separating families and their children.
