BTMK were delighted to host a training seminar yesterday at The Roslin Beach Hotel to existing clients, professional contacts, work referrers and friends of BTMK on the hugely important topics relating to Life Planning. Our event was hosted by Lee Wilcockson and the presentations were delivered by Priti Mayor (Family & Matrimonial), Kevin Bourley (Residential Property & Conveyancing) and Mark Goodson (Wills, Probate, Inheritance and Trusts), all from BTMK. The presentations explored the theme of the “Bank of Mum & Dad” and the considerations that need to be given by all parties when looking to borrow from this source. We looked at the consequences of a divorce or separation, practical considerations imposed by traditional lenders or mortgage companies and of course, sound financial and future planning that can help to reduce taxation or intestacy.
