BTMK Raise £5000 for charity by winning the Hattie’s Heroes Golf Invitational
On Friday 10th August 2018, at Thorpe Hall Golf Club, BTMK Solicitors put together a team of golfers for The fourth Hattie’s Heroes Charity Golf Day organised by The Golf Heroes. You can find out more about them here: – https://www.thgolfheroes.com/
The BTMK golf team were Nitin Khandhia, Managing Director of BTMK Solicitors, Adam Fleming, Director & Joint Head of the Litigation Team at BTMK Solicitors, Lee Emptage, Director and Joint Head of the Commercial Team at BTMK and Ian Dudman, a teaching professional golfer.
Despite the driving wind and rain, incredibly – yes we were as surprised as you – Team BTMK won the day, and for the first time in the history of the event, BTMK were allowed to donate £5000 to a charity of our choice. We asked if we could split the winnings into two donations of £2500 each and they agreed!
So we will donate half to BECOME, our nominated charity of the year which supports young people in care, and young people leaving care, and the rest to the amazing Havens Hospice.
Each of the team members also won their own individual prizes and Nitin Khandhia also brought home the nearest the pin prize at the daunting 7th Hole.
We’re delighted at this unexpected windfall for both charities.
